Biography & Metadata

Brandon Hargrave is a UK-based multi-instrumentalist, producer, and score writer with a story as rich as his sound. Rising to success at just 17 with indie-pop band Franklin, Brandon helped propel their breakout hit “Skream” into the global Top 100, selling out venues around the world. After leaving the band in 2016 following the tragic passing of his brother aged just 21 to cancer, Brandon retreated to Cornwall for a period of personal healing and reflection. In 2018, he signed with BMG as a songwriter, crafting songs for global artists and landing major syncs with Netflix, Disney+, Peloton, and Starbucks. To date, his work has amassed over 700 million streams worldwide. That same year, Brandon released his debut solo album People Change, touring extensively across Australia, the U.S., and Europe playing over 170 shows from intimate 200-cap rooms to 5,000-capacity venues. Named to the 30 Under 30 list in 2023, Brandon later partnered with Swedish tech company SNAFU in 2024, selling select music rights to fund his passion project: Surface Coffee Roasters, a zero-waste coffee roastery in Devon that celebrates independent music. Now back in the studio, Brandon is cooking up new releases for late 2025 and 2026. Expect evolution, honesty, and the same soulful craftsmanship that’s shaped his journey so far.
