Chilla

CHILLA The infamous Lil Chilla of the legendary Chicago rap group Snypaz — is the originator of the melody-driven, fast-rapping Chicago flow that helped shape household names across the Midwest. A true Chicago legend. Formed in 1993, Snypaz built their name the hardest way possible: their 1996 EP My Life as a Snypa sold 80,000 copies, much of it hand-to-hand out the trunk — from their hands straight to the tape decks of the city. Few independent artists have ever moved units like that on pure grind. The group recorded with Do or Die, appeared on Scarface's 1998 album My Homies, signed to Virgin Records and Rap-A-Lot, and charted on the Billboard 200 with Livin' in the Scope (2001). Chilla's catalog runs deep with legends — work alongside Do or Die, Scarface, Yukmouth of the Luniz, Tech N9ne, and Fatal of the Outlawz. A pioneer of the fast-rap style that an entire generation of Midwest artists adopted on their way to fame. Leader of the Snypaz. Still here, still recording, still Chicago to the bone. #Snypaz http://instagram.com/chief.snypa https://tiktok.com/@chief.snypa SnypazOfficial@gmail.com
