Loozmathai

Akhil Mathew, a.k.a Loozmathai debuted his first original composition 'A Lullaby for the Broken' on 6th August 2021. Inspired by artists such as Devin Townsend, Patrick Watson, and Hans Zimmer, the song is a mixture of indie and orchestral elements. The creation of the song was a therapeutic process for the songwriter. It comprises the reflections of a mind, broken down by mishappenings, and ends on a hopeful note of acceptance. It is a song borne out of heartbreak, there were a lot of intense emotions. When I first made the song, I was going through a really rough time, this song describes my wants and desires, about wanting to love and feel loved, I wrote this back in Nov of 2020, around march is when I hit an all-time low and working on this song really helped me overcome it, this song was inspired by my favorite artists Devin Townsend, Patrick Watson, Ramin Djawadi, Radiohead, and Yvette Young.
