Raf21 is the organic ambient project of Paris-based composer Raphael Beaudon, whose music fuses classical elegance with immersive field recordings captured in nature. A classically trained flautist, Raf21 draws inspiration from symphonic and ambient music to create spacious, slow-evolving soundscapes that balance melody, emotion, and atmosphere. Each composition begins with a single field recording—a breeze through leaves, a stream, a bird call—collected during his travels. These sounds shape both the tone and structure of each piece, defining Raf21's nature-infused ambient music as calm, tactile, and deeply connected to place. Released through Signal Alchemy, Mare Nostrum, Little Symphony, and independent outlets, Raf21's work has appeared widely on playlists devoted to meditative and environmental listening. His track Water Therapy has surpassed a million streams, and the award-winning album Dream Among Nature continues to reach listeners seeking reflection through sound. Raf21 also composed Ambiance Mystère for the stage production Huit Femmes—a theme that later became a viral TikTok success with over 20 million views.
