Alex Guthrie

Alex Guthrie is an indie-rock artist born and raised in Arizona. Growing up in a family of music-lovers, Alex quickly found an appreciation for the music of the 80’s and decades prior. Since picking up the guitar at age five, he has blended his love for classic rock with the sounds of modern artists into his songwriting. After changing his major in college to music, Alex released his first single, One Moment Longer, in April 2024. Expanding upon his first single, Alex released his debut album, Hazel Eyes , in October of 2024. In 2026, Alex assembled a band whose members consisted of Holly Hill, Jordan Montalvan, Cooper Nichols, and Lucy Pettitt; Alex Guthrie and The Uplands Band was born. Bringing back the energy and tonality of late-70’s/early-80’s rock ‘n roll, they play through Phoenix in search of their destiny for the big time… Photos 1,3,5: Neil Schwartz Photo 2: Cooper Burns Photo 4: Lucy Pettitt
