Biography & Metadata
In 2023, alcinous made his first lofi track. Nearly four years and 500 songs later, he’s built a catalog of music for sleeping, studying, and slowing down … and an audience of millions of listeners around the world. The main lofi alias of musician Zachary Biss, alcinous has released music with some of the genre’s biggest labels and become a familiar name across the lofi scene. Now based in Lisbon, Portugal; he continues to make music at a steady, almost obsessive pace. At its core, the music alcinous makes is about finding a little peace in the middle of everyday life. If his guitar can help you slow down for a few minutes, he’s done his job.
