From Portugal to Berlin, Jepe — born João Silva — has built a distinctive sound across deep house, organic house, melodic house, indie dance, minimal and electronic music. A DJ, producer, sound engineer and label head, Jepe’s productions and DJ sets combine deep grooves, analogue textures, melodic elements and influences from house, disco, electro and jazz. His music sits comfortably between underground club music and sophisticated electronic listening, with a strong focus on timeless, dancefloor-driven production. Based in Berlin, Jepe is the founder of @Eastern Standard and A&R at @Moodmusic. His music has appeared on labels including Innervisions Diynamic Releases , @Disco Halal, @Mule Musiq, @Compost, @Cecille and @Moodmusic, alongside collaborations, remixes and releases connecting different corners of the international electronic music scene.
