VIMA

VIMA is a bold new chapter for German artist Johannes Vimalavong - a name derived from the first four letters of his surname - built on years of global success, a clear artistic vision, and a strong sense of identity. Having performed at some of the world’s biggest festivals and earned multiple Gold and Platinum awards, VIMA brings both experience and perspective into this new era. Under a previous artist name, his music has reached over 3 billion streams and received more than 75 Gold and Platinum awards across 18 countries, with collaborations including Armin van Buuren, Tokio Hotel, Felix Jaehn, and R3HAB. Now, under a new name but with the same identity, VIMA refocuses his sound with greater clarity and intention. His music blends emotional depth with high-energy electronic elements, reflecting both personal evolution and a forward-looking creative direction. This new phase begins with “Solid Ground.” More than just a release, the track marks a defining moment - a powerful, emotional statement about finding clarity after uncertainty and turning it into momentum. Grounded, focused, and ready to build something bigger - this is just the beginning.
