One Culture

One Culture is an original reggae project hailing from Virginia Beach, Virginia. Frontman Kurt Jansohn has served as the sole producer and mix engineer since its inception in 2014. Inspired by both roots reggae and modern reggae, he set out to independently learn the art of creating and writing music from the ground up, focusing heavily on attention to detail and quality. One Culture’s mission is to spread conscious, powerful, and uplifting music to people around the world. The songs tell relatable stories of love, hardship, personal growth, injustice, equality, and unity—messages that resonate across cultures and backgrounds. One Culture creates music for everyone—not just a niche audience, but something both dedicated reggae fans and everyday listeners can connect with.
