Raquita

R A Q U I T A THE FOUNDATION Texas native Raquita was raised in the East Texas town of Center before spending 15 years in Beaumont. Those experiences—and the rich musical heritage of her home state—continue to influence her passion for storytelling, meaningful connection, and timeless music. Today, she blends soul and contemporary R&B into songs that inspire, uplift, and linger long after the final note. THE MISSION When she’s not writing or recording music, Raquita serves as an upper school vocal coach and choir director. She is passionate about helping young musicians and creatives discover their confidence, develop their gifts, and find their unique voice. Whether directing choirs, coaching vocalists, or mentoring students, she believes every person has a story worth telling. THE JOURNEY In 2021, Raquita and her husband relocated to Colorado to attend Charis Bible College. There, she completed the school’s two-year program before continuing into the third-year Leadership School, deepening her passion for leadership, personal and spiritual growth, and serving others. Today, she continues to pursue her love for communication and storytelling as she completes her Bachelor’s degree in Communications through Grand Canyon University.
