Matt Storm

Synthesizing disparate ideas: Matt Storm. Making music is not about making music! Making music is a reaction to living. Plain and simple. As life offered up it's interesting, unexplanatory and ever-changing circumstances, Matt processed them through songwriting. This yielded two albums and two EP's worth of self-produced music over the years. Cold rainy winters in the Pacific Northwest makes a recording studio look like an oasis, and Matts is decorated from years of collecting interesting instruments and gear. A life long obsession with sound makes itself evident in some of the unique soundscapes speckled throughout his catalog. His love of writing has manifested into handmade poetry books sold at shows, as well as consistent blog posts on his website. The constant allure of the stage found him in front of audiences all over the world. From cafes in Vancouver to huge festival stages, from small pubs in Paris to headlining tours in the UK.
