Biography & Metadata

Douze is Arnault Esteve, a French producer. First discovered by Kris Menace, he would later become the protégé of the German producer. Their collaboration led on to several EPs & albums produced together with Douze appearing on Menace’s albums “Features” and last project “Sun, Moon & Stars” in collaboration with Simon Lord.
Following this, Douze worked with another titan of the French electronic music scene, Alan Braxe, the results of which are still under lock and key in Braxe’s own production vault. As a solo artist, Douze’s first major single "We Got The Love" came out in 2010. He has since released music on some of Europe’s best dance labels, such as Moullinex’s Discotexas, Mason’s Animal Language, Lifelike’s Computer Science. His latest tracks have been picked up by Toolroom and Media Blackout. On the production side, Douze worked on two albums on his side project 3615 Nuits Blanches. He also provided composing and producing work for Swedish singer Yota’s albums.
As a remixer, he worked for the likes of Sally Shapiro, Simon Lord (Simian), Robin Thicke, Holly Johnson (Frankie Goes To Hollywood) Chrome Canyon, Housse de Racket, Ali Love to name a few. L.O.V.E. Ltd (Living On Variable Emotions), Douze's own label was created in 2015 with the intent of celebrating the sound of the late 70s to early 80s (Douze trademark sound) mixed with neoteric sounds, focusing on top-notch releases as well as bringing up fresh talent.
