In the world of uplifting trance, Romanian DJ and producer Suncatcher has cemented his status as a mainstay by delivering soaring melodies and emotional soundscapes. His journey began in 2003 with a demo of Fruity Loops, but it was his breakout single "Epic"—heavily championed by Above & Beyond on Trance Around The World—that catapulted him into the international spotlight. Since then, his pristine productions have found a home on powerhouse labels like Enhanced, FSOE, Subculture, and Amsterdam Trance, earning him remix duties for icons like Tiësto and John O’Callaghan, as well as consistent set support from Armin van Buuren and Paul van Dyk. As a performer, Suncatcher has brought his high-energy style to major global stages like Luminosity Beach Festival and Untold, spanning countries from the UK to Spain. In recent years, he found an ideal production partner in Exolight, with whom he has channeled most of his musical output; together, they have dropped countless collaborative bangers under their own names, while also launching their joint project, Sunlight State, to explore a tougher, bass-heavy style alongside his continued solo ventures into the progressive realm.
