Catch John

Catch John is the musical journey of John DeMint, a globe-trotter, mountain climber, and lifelong music lover whose sound is shaped by exploration, movement, and emotion. Blending deep house, progressive house, and melodic EDM, Catch John creates cinematic dance music inspired by travel, mountain landscapes, and distant cultures. From learning to read sheet music at age 12 to playing lead guitar in a Southern California death metal band, John's musical path has always pushed beyond comfort zones. Years of studio experience led him to study music production and sound design at Hyperbits Music School in 2025, refining his songwriting, arrangement, mixing, and release-ready sound. Today, he combines the emotion of early 2000s dance music with modern electronic production. Inspired by high peaks and quiet moments far from home, his music captures the thrill of exploration. His breakout single, Dreams, reached the charts in Romania, marking an early milestone in Catch John's global journey. Since then, he has surpassed 300,000 streams across platforms, connecting listeners through uplifting melodies, atmospheric soundscapes, and emotional storytelling. Every release is designed to feel cinematic yet personal, music that moves forward, lifts upward, and connects listeners across borders. Catch John's mission is to inspire curiosity, celebrate adventure, and remind listeners that every journey begins with a single beat.
