Chills On Mars

Music has never had boundaries for me. Growing up, my playlists were a chaotic mix of everything—from the deep grooves of House and the grit of Hip Hop to the raw energy of Punk, Metal, and Indie Rock. Chills On Mars actually started with a completely different vision: I wanted to make Synthpop. But as I began experimenting with organic textures, a timely nudge from The Notorious CPU (which later sparked two collaborations) changed everything. He suggested throwing a heavy Boom Bap beat under those synths. That moment, combined with endless hours of tweaking sample libraries like LoFi Sounds, completely shifted my orbit. I had found a new home in LoFi. For me, this project is deeply personal. It’s born out of a longing for a quiet island of relaxation in a chaotic world. You won’t find any big artist egos here—I prefer to leave the spotlight behind. My name is Sven, but Chills On Mars isn't about my persona. It’s about the vibe. I am perfectly happy if my tracks serve as the soundtrack to your late-night study sessions, your morning coffee, or your moments of zoning out. No ego, no noise. Just a peaceful place to land.
