J-Live

As a rapper, DJ and producer, J-Live has been an indie Hip Hop legend since the late 90s, early 2000s. Born and raised in New York City, his conscious message and underground sound is congruent with the iconic artists and producers he’s worked with over the years. As a former Brooklyn middle school teacher, not only does he take pride in thoughtful intelligent song writing, he also continues to educate through music workshops and speaking events. As a performer with a catalogue of countless Hip Hop classics and features, J-Live is known for his booming powerful voice, energetic mastery of the crowd, and a show stopping routine, simultaneously rhyming while beat juggling.
