DJ R. It all started in 1990 - a time when the music world was characterized by MTV, baggies and Walkmans as well as hip-hop culture was taking its course. Inspired by a Gang Starr concert in Munich, DJ R. decided to become a DJ himself at the age of 15. After many successful years as a DJ in the R&B and hip hop area, he discovered his passion for electronic music and mixed the styles together in his sets. This led to appearances in many renowned clubs and countless shows. At the same time, DJ R. also began to get involved in music production and set up his first recording studio. This is where the first underground hip hop sounds were created. A few years later, he and a friend started an electronic DJ duo that released several singles over the years on labels such as Sony / Ultra Music, Universal and others. DJ R. has been going his own way since 2016. He releases and composes music in all areas that he enjoys. This has resulted in many tracks and collaborations that have achieved several placements.
