OG Stevo

Stevon Odueze, known professionally as OG Stevo, is a Nigerian-American melodic rapper hailing from Chicago’s North Side. Raised in the Uptown and Rogers Park neighborhoods, Stevo channels his environment into emotionally charged storytelling that blends melody with street-rooted authenticity. Often compared to local icons like Young Pappy and Polo G, he stands out for his ability to weave heartfelt reflection into trap-driven soundscapes — reshaping Chicago’s melodic rap lane in his own voice. Following breakout records like “Glock Did” and “Remember Last Night,” Stevo has cemented himself as one of Chicago’s most versatile emerging artists. His catalog balances raw introspection with street appeal, connecting deeply with fans who see themselves in his lyrics. Now, with the breakout success of “BNB” — featured in Tyler Perry’s Beauty in Black (#1 on Netflix) and currently charting on Shazam’s Top 200 — Stevo returns with a cinematic, emotionally charged record that expands his melodic storytelling. His organic rise reflects both strong streaming traction and real-world fan connection. With undeniable local impact, expanding national awareness, and a vision rooted in authenticity, OG Stevo continues to define his lane as one of Chicago’s most promising independent voices.
