IMPERATORE

Imperatore are redefining rock and metal from Australia’s west coast, forging a commanding fusion of operatic power, cinematic orchestration, and modern metal intensity. This signature sound — Imperial Rock & Metal — is crafted and led by founder Zoran Cunjack, whose vision drives the project. Formed in Perth in 2022, Imperatore began as Zoran’s bold mission to unite heavy metal with classical voice and cinematic scale. The result is a sound that stands apart, delivering music that is emotionally profound and sonically thunderous. What started as a creative collaboration has evolved into a powerful recording and live entity built around Zoran’s operatic vocals and artistic leadership. The self-titled debut earned critical acclaim and a West Australian Music Award nomination for Song of the Year. The 2024 follow-up Nations, Rise! expanded the sonic landscape and deepened the project’s identity. With the third album The Lionspirit (2025) via Rockshots Records, led by “Be A Man” and “My Life,” Imperatore explore courage, resilience, and self-mastery — continuing their mission to redefine what rock and metal can be.
