The Scott Benson Band is an instrumental orchestral rock band from Saskatchewan, Canada. The band formed in 2011 with its founder, Scott Benson, and producer, Jared Robinson. The band’s current line up consists of Scott Benson (violin), Jared Robinson (piano and arrangements), Jared Dormer (drums), Cameron Church (bass), and Andrew Fath (guitars). The band’s latest album (Volume II) has gained popularity with over 17 million streams worldwide and their version of Requiem for a Dream being viewed on TikTok more than a billion times. The band has also earned Gold Certification in Europe. The album features vocalists Felicia Farerre (300: Rise of an Empire and Maleficent vocalist), Carrah Flahive (Godzilla, X-Men: Days of Future Past, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles vocalist) and Uyanga Bold (Bucharest Symphony Orchestra guest vocalist). The band was also nominated for a Western Canadian Music Award for Best Instrumental Recording. The band’s most recent work includes reimagining the theme to the hit series Game of Thrones while starting production on other various renowned songs.
