Simone Kermes

Simone Kermes is an internationally acclaimed German dramatic colortura soprano celebrate for her virtuosity, emotional intensity and fearless artistic individuality. She has performed at leading opera houses, concert halls and festivals worldwide from New York and Sydney to Madrid, Copenhagen, Lisbon and Vienna.Her repertoire reaches far beyond Baroque and Classical Opera, embracing Film Music, Jazz,Pop and Contemporary works. In 2017, she founded her own period-instrument ensemble ,Amici Veneziani. She also works as a Mentor and opera director, making her directorial debut with Handel’s Alcina in 2026. Her latest album, La Luce, brings together Baroque brilliance, Classical expression and cinematic sound worlds in a deeply personal journey through light, hope and transformation.
