Storm Kingdom

Storm Kingdom- Storm Kingdom is a solo doom-fusion project founded in Orlando, Florida, in 2023 by Justin Holforty. Blending crushing heaviness, dark atmospheres, and raw emotional expression, the project explores themes drawn from ancient mythology and history, from Sumeria to the Norse world, alongside novels and films that delve into deeper, more complex subjects. All music is written and composed by Justin, with compositional contributions from Richie Warwick and Black Marine. His own vocal style ranges from deep, heavy growls to spoken-word passages, while collaborations with vocalists including Sonia Hutchinson of Crowsilver, Joe Booe, Ella Baphomet, MX the American, and others bring different voices and interpretations to the music. Storm Kingdom embraces a raw, deliberately under-produced sound, preserving the atmosphere, emotional weight, and darker textures at the heart of each composition. Initially releasing albums and EPs, the project has evolved toward a format centered primarily on singles and EPs, allowing each release to stand on its own. This approach also creates space for distinctive artwork that reflects the individual song's themes, imagery, and underlying story. Rooted in ancient worlds, dark imagination, and uncompromising creative expression, Storm Kingdom exists where heaviness and atmosphere meet.
