Man vs Monkey

The album release of “MONKEY TIMES” with 19 songs is the first major milestone. In addition to pop/dance tracks, the album also contains two acoustic versions that underline the songwriting class of Man vs Monkey. Incidentally, the songs were all written, texted and produced by the two boys themselves at a distance of 8,200 km when Dan (Daniel Logar) lived in Seoul (South Korea) and Funky Monkey lived in Vienna. During this time, 45 songs were created via Zoom, which were then written and produced in joint sessions. Each song was created in collaboration with different singers. Among others, Chris Cron, the lead singer of the 2010 chart-topper “Mêlée” was won for the single “See you again”. In addition to Marie Font, who comes from LA, other artists from the USA were brought on board (okafuwa, Zïe and Bymia). But some Austrian artists can also be found on the album. Emma-Mo, Flo Fin, Pia Miller and Viktoria Liv were able to convince incredibly strong voices to work together. In collaboration with the Tyrolean boys from Wild Culture, who fine-tuned the album's sound, Man vs Monkey worked on their debut album for a total of 3 years.
