Biography & Metadata

RISE is a dynamic four-piece band hailing from Liverpool, England. Known for their high-energy performances and distinctive sound, RISE is making waves in the rock music scene. The band features: Sam Kinley (aka stayMellow) on bass and vocals Paul Kinley on keyboards and backing vocals Alex Mahoney on drums Brian Petch on guitar RISE creates a powerful blend of high-tempo rock, driven by melodic vocal hooks and a seamless mix of synths and guitars. This unique combination gives RISE an instantly recognizable sound that draws from melodic rock with occasional nods to progressive rock influences. Music and Releases; Talking To Your Ghost Again is available from 23rd October 2026 Our new single, Talking To Your Ghost Again will be released on 2rd October. This is a deeply personal song for the band as is deals with the loss of Steve Kinley, the Band's original singer and bass player. It has a powerful vocal track from stayMellow, with fantastic harmonies and great guitar work from Brian Petch aka "Barb". The song focuses on the difficult point of loss and grief and how people try to move on from possibly the biggest change for family and friends. The track was recorded at Whitewood Studios in Liverpool and produced by Rob Whiteley and Paul Kinley. The track has a softer feel and it draws on the band's progressive rock influences but this makes it a standout piece in their discography. The song is instantly recognisable, with a pure "RISE" feel.
