Chrome

Chrome is a Mexican American rapper born in Compton California. The young Compton native started rapping and soaking up game at the young age of 12 years old. Inspired after seeing his older siblings making music Young Chrome started putting the pen to the pad, he came out with some impressive rhymes for only 12 years old. His brother noticing that then gave him the moniker Chrome because he felt that one day he would be shining if he continued writing raps like that. Chrome joined his brother's rap crew; Infamous Gees Krue [EST. 2005]. In 2015 Chrome added his own twist and switched the acronym to IGK to Infamous Ghetto Kings, and went on to release IGK's first professionally mastered track Streets of Compton ft. BABYEAZYE (E-3) on all digital platforms. The single STREETS OF COMPTON featuring E-3 was a tribute to Eazy E the God Father Of Gangster rap, it was greatly embraced by the streets and the music world. Since dropping Streets of Compton on March 3rd 2018, Chrome has been putting more music out consistently. In 2020 IGK began racking up numbers on Spotify, with hits like GET DOE racking up 78K streams in a few months. On December 17th, Chrome dropped his 1st mixtape titled Str8 Out The Hub, the whole project streamed 60K plus. In 2021 Chrome dropped his 1st full body of work, his highly anticipated debut album titled Infamous Westcoast that now sits at over 400K streams on Spotify and features artists such as; Compton AV, Slim 400, Rucci, Nhale, Lil Slugg + more.
