Biography & Metadata
The most meaningful friendships exist beyond space and time. Soul connections can resurface at any moment, and any amount of time spent apart fades away in an instant. Such has been the case with New Constellations, the indie-pop collaboration between lifelong friends Harlee Case and Josh Smith. Their debut album, It Comes In Waves, arrived in May 2026 via Nettwerk Music Group. Comprising 13 tracks that shift from ethereal dream-pop to full-blown dance-pop, It Comes In Waves reflects the band’s overarching view on life: to exist is to move through an oceanic spectrum of feelings. The record has drawn widespread critical acclaim from outlets like SPIN, Hit Parader, FLOOD, KEXP, and more. This attention translated into key sync placements across TV and film projects like Good Trouble, Surface, Scrambled, and Netflix’s Voicemails to Isabelle. Beyond the studio, New Constellations continue to expand their creative ecosystem through collaborations with international producers like STRFKR, French79 and Peter Dallas. Their transition to global prominence is equally evident on stage: following a sold-out 26-city tour with The Midnight, the duo has taken their dynamic live show to premier festivals such as Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits, BottleRock, SSBD and Corona Capital.
