Biography & Metadata

Charismatic, vocally powerful, and moving are the words often used to describe the award winning Nomakhuze Ndabula. This Katlehong (Johannesburg, South Africa) born and raised talent has a uniquely soothing soprano which she uses to deliver both traditional and contemporal gospel music. The female voice behind the hit single “Yebo Linamandla” with Benjamin Dube, Nomakhuze was discovered by legend Sizwe Zako who introduced her to the music industry professionally. Recording professionally since 1997, as a member of the gospel ensemble Soul Winners, Nomakhuze’s discography includes doing background vocals for South Africa’s top gospel legends including Sizwe Zako (1997-2002), Mthunzi Namba (2003), Vuyo Mokoena (2003-2005), Sipho Makhabane (2007), Rebecca Malope (2005-2009), Solly Mahlangu (2011), Tshepo Tshola (2012) and Sbu Banda (2015). As a solo artist, the gifted worshipper has toured Germany, USA, UK, Nigeria, Ghana, Zimbambwe, Swaziland and Botswana sharing the stage with respected brands such as Juanita Bynum, Fred Hamond, Sipho Ngwenya, and Spirit Of Praise to mention as few. In August 2023, she won the Best Female Gospel artist in the Ingoma awards. Remember the name: NOMAKHUZE NDABULA.
