Biography & Metadata

"Future Crisis Klub delves into a delirious number of styles on their kaleidoscopic self-titled effort. New Wave, post-punk, alternative rock, and more blend together into this rather lush series of suites. The vocals figure prominently. Everything about it goes for this truly epic, sweeping sort of sound. Lyrics matter for they nimble skitter across, drawing from a life lived to the fullest. Best of all the interplay amongst the entire band feels absolutely intoxicating. Volume is a given for this is something quite expansive, that draws the listener into their own peculiar realm." ~ BeachSloth Kris Degaust is the man behind the alt rock project known as Future Crisis Klub. Kris formerly fronted Canadian alt rock/post grunge acts Good Nite Irene and Rabbit during the 90s and early 2000s and is currently based in Oakland, CA. After a 13 year hiatus, Kris is back and better than ever with the recent release of Future Crisis Klub. The album was recorded at the world famous Sunset Sound studio in Los Angeles and was produced by the world renowned Joe Chiccarelli.
