Tim van Werd

Tim van Werd is a Dutch DJ and producer at the forefront of the melodic house and techno scene. His music has taken him from clubs and festivals across Europe, the UK and Asia to releases on acclaimed labels including Armada, Spectrum and Purified Records. His music has received support from artists including Joris Voorn, Tinlicker, Eelke Kleijn, Nora En Pure, Cosmic Gate and Bart Skils. His tracks have also been played on BBC Radio 1, One World Radio, SiriusXM, Radio 538, SLAM!, 3FM and Café Mambo Ibiza. Tim has performed at A State Of Trance, where he also joined the ASOT studio for an interview and podcast with Armin van Buuren and Ruben de Ronde, as well as at ADE, The Boom Room and clubs and festivals around the world. His musical identity is rooted in a diverse background as a drummer, trumpet player and pianist, combined with experience in classical, jazz and pop music and formal training at the renowned Herman Brood Academy. This broad musical foundation continues to shape his approach to electronic music, with melody and musicality at the heart of his productions. Tim launched his own label, Innerleaf, creating a platform for his own music and artists that share love for melodic house and techno. The label is an extension of Tim’s musical vision, focused on melodic, emotional and atmospheric electronic music. Alongside his original productions, Tim has also remixed iconic tracks including Reflekt’s ‘Need To Feel Loved’ and Michael Gray’s ‘The Weekend’.
