Kooscha

Kooscha is known for his signature deep and dubby textures. He resides in the realms of minimal house and dub techno, while effortlessly avoiding being bound by them. His finesse behind the decks and attention to detail is remarkable making him one not only to watch, but one to hear, digest, and be inspired by. Kooscha found early success with an ambient alias that garnered attention from online communities and saw him perform at Moogfest in 2014. In the following years he continued refining his production, bringing his soundscapes closer to the dancefloors in the form of minimal house and dub techno. He developed a signature sound that blends vast soundscapes with intricate sound design and drum programming sometimes described as squishy or asmr inducing. Today Kooscha is considered as one of Australia’s dub techno mainstays, working with labels such as Blankhaus, Dialectic Recordings, Drift Deeper, Spclnch, Stately Records and Touch of Loft. His music has been picked up by the likes of Bicep, Cousin, Luis León, Simon Caldwell, Tangela and many more, further spreading his sound around the world.
