ok girlfriend

Sydney based producer, songwriter and DJ ok girlfriend exists somewhere between hyperpop, electronic music and pop at its most excessive. First emerging with releases including “Bimbo” with Lxlita, ok girlfriend developed a sound rooted in the glossy, chaotic edges of internet pop, drawing inspiration from artists such as SOPHIE, A. G. Cook, Charli xcx and the wider PC Music universe. “Bimbo” later found a new life online, with its Fluid Remix resurfacing in 2026 and reaching a new audience through TikTok and streaming. Beyond his own music, ok girlfriend has long been involved in building spaces around the music he loves. He previously founded Uncultured World, a successful online festival that hosted artists including Ninajirachi, Frost Children and Moodkiller. Today, he is the co founder of Pop2, a club night centred around hyperpop, electronic music and the community surrounding it. Moving between producing, songwriting, DJing and events, ok girlfriend has never been particularly interested in staying inside one genre. “Bimbo Pop” may have started as a name for the world created with collaborator Lxlita, but the years since have seen that world continue to mutate, louder, stranger and increasingly electronic.
