Nico May

Nico May is a singer-songwriter from Milwaukee, WI now based in LA. He has garnered millions of views and streams across his social media platforms and on his original music. His indie-folk inspired songs and unique voice have helped him grow his fanbase and come into his own as an up and coming artist. Nico was born in Milwaukee, WI and started experimenting with music at a young age. He first began his journey playing saxophone in the Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra's Jazz program, while also spending time creating songs on his family's computer using GarageBand. In high school, he began releasing music online and performing in Milwaukee and Chicago at artist showcases held by Grace Weber and Chance the Rapper. As he continued to grow as an artist, his social media following grew too, with covers of tracks by Billie Eilish, James Arthur, and Adele amassing millions of views. In 2023 Nico moved to LA and has been working to achieve his goal of becoming a major artist, putting out a steady release of singles and finally his debut EP - REVERIE - in the fall of 2024. In summer 2025, Nico appeared on Netflix’s Building the Band, introducing his music to a global audience and expanding his reach. Since the show’s release, he has continued to build momentum with new singles and a run of standout live performances across Los Angeles, including a show at the historic Troubadour. With a rapidly growing fanbase and a clear artistic vision, Nico’s rise is only just beginning.
