Andres Gómez, artistically known as importmedia, is a 22-year-old independent multi-genre artist, producer, halftime DJ, and guitarist from Venezuela, currently based in Táchira. He emerged as a key figure in the Lo-fi Hip Hop movement during the SoundCloud era, shaping a new wave of emotional music in Latin America. His sound seamlessly blends Hip-Hop, Electronic music, 90s vibes, and even Alternative rock influences, driven by a deep sensitivity and a passion for storytelling through melody. As a guitarist, he adds organic textures to his productions, creating immersive sonic landscapes that resonate globally, and as a DJ, he has participated in various sets and international brand events, leaving a Latin mark on experimental electronic music. He is also a founding member of moth (or MOTH), a Venezuelan creative collective known for its genre-defying approach and commitment to artistic freedom, serving as a platform for experimental and emotionally charged music.
