Francesco Cervino

Francesco Cervino was born in Verona in 1963 and developed a passion for singing as a child. As a teenager, he decided to learn the guitar, a decision he made after listening to "Run, Run Se Fue Pa'l Norte" by Inti-illimani. He began writing songs in 2018, released his debut album "Destinazione Lucignolandia" in 2024, and released his second album, "Fuori dal Tempio," in 2026. His music draws on the Italian singer-songwriter tradition from the 1970s onward, clearly demonstrating his musical and artistic background. ▶️ My second album, "Fuori dal Tempio," is out now ◀️ The temple, understood as a place from which certain things must be banished, like merchants, who must not mix with spirituality. The temple is also understood as a symbol of institutions, laws, and rules, whereby those who don't conform, adapt, or obey are, more or less gently, removed. It's not a concept album, but there's a thread that ties the nine songs together. I haven't become a "rocker," but compared to "Destinazione Lucignolandia," electric guitars, bass, and drums have found their place.
