Inspired by Miles Davis’ Tutu and the revolutionary bass artistry of Marcus Miller, Brendan has developed a style rooted in melody, groove, and emotion. He’s built a reputation as a first-call bassist, contributing bass performance, composition and production to recordings by acclaimed artists including saxophonist Wayne Gutshall, vocalist Sylvia Bennett, bassist Christian de Mesones, and guitarist Reza Khan — including Khan’s albums Mystical (2024), featuring the legendary Bob James, and Shadow Dancers (2026). His third solo album, Destiny (2022), captures where his artistry stands today — and with new original material and further collaborations on the horizon, that story continues to unfold.
