Blimes and the Bando

Blimes and The Bando is an electrifying blend of way back when and right here right now. Based in Southern California and formed in 2023 through a series of serendipitous events, the band has quickly captivated audiences with their infectious rhythms and high-energy performances. Lead vocalist Blimes delivers a powerful mix of gritty rap, melodic pop, and bluesy soul, all infused with an undeniable stage presence. Producer and guitarist Elijah Grae brings a broad array of sonic influences, fusing eclectic sounds with a slick, polished vibe. Drummer Curtis Byrd is all about high-voltage energy. Known for his killer “pocket” style, he keeps the band locked in and ready to rock. Saxophone and keys maestro bennygrape brings the old-school warmth of a Fender Rhodes and the sharp, vibrant tone of his saxophone, adding an extra layer of uniqueness and vibe. With their debut EP on the way, Blimes and The Bando are here to shake things up — mixing classic vibes with a fresh twist and delivering live shows that are electric from start to finish. “Dance with us. Cry with us. Touch the sky with us!”
