Ophelia's Veil

Ophelia’s Veil is the independent recording project of UK-born Australian songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Jon Eckersley, with additional vocals by Jodie Michelle. Blending moody guitars, melodic hooks and emotionally driven songwriting, the music draws from 90s grunge, alternative and modern indie rock. Drawing from 90s grunge, alternative and modern indie rock, the music favours feeling and honesty over polish. Written and recorded independently, the debut album brings together a body of work spanning more than two decades. Some songs were first written over 20 years ago, while others were completed more recently, together exploring introspection, connection and the quieter moments between intensity and calm.
