🎶 Details Music 🎶 Van Island's own details was born in Nanaimo, BC in the early 80's, destined at a young age for a life in the Arts. After a 9YR musical hiatus, he created HoodStock in 2021, a promotion, management & apparel service which aided the Island native in booking, promoting & providing opportunities for many local Acts. On the back of his 2nd Studio Release Kingdom, details & Mr. ESQ released ISLAND ROYALTY VOL 2 V.I.KINGS aka Island Royalty, Vol 2 in late 2024... IRV2 features International names like Millyz, Complete, Dave East, Young Buck & colleagues Snak The Ripper, Merkules, Peter Jackson, Lil Windex & Young Stitch + legends Spice 1 & the late, great Young Noble of the Outlawz. The 'V.I. Kings' shared stages with the likes of Dave East x Merkules x Xzibit x D12 x Obie Trice x Lloyd Banks x Rick Ross x Sickick & more in a busy 18 month window... In 2025, D created CoalTown Publishing, a publishing entity to handle royalty collection for details & Mr. ESQ. This, in conjunction with a move to the United States in late 2026 with the help of 'The Upper Left Collective's SYNC Mentor & Management program, spearheaded by Portland Powerhouse Artist Mighty, has created an exciting time... Add to that an ALL NEW 16 Song Project heavily produced by Canada's own Kryple entitled 'Off Season' mixed & mastered by DJ Stelo, featuring album-specific apparel, reels & videos for every record, plus a KickStarter to get it all rolling in late May 2026...
