Biography & Metadata
Everything changed on that day. And at the same time, nothing changed... Formed in 2003 in the small northern village of Sunderbyn in northern Sweden, Skaburbian Collective began as a group of childhood friends with dreams, brotherhood, and a mission. What started in rehearsal rooms under Arctic skies grew into four full-length albums, gold status, countless live shows across Europe, and a fiercely loyal fanbase. Their sound blends reggae rock grooves with alternative rock energy, surf-inspired melodies, and a raw Scandinavian edge - often described as the Scandinavian version of Cali-reggae. Driving basslines, melodic guitars, and powerful vocals create music built for both open roads and crowded stages. On December 14, 2017, tragedy struck. Singer and guitarist Kribbe was found dead. The band was shattered - but not broken. “We were a band with Kribbe, and we are a band after that.” Music was never just a project. It was identity. It was a mission. Refusing to quit, Skaburbian Collective regrouped, rebuilt, and returned to the stage in 2020. The comeback single Forward marked a new chapter — and the crowd response proved the mission was still alive. And once you press play you will know why we had to keep going This is reggae rock - Scandinavian style.
