Jay-D

Jay-D is a Malayalam artist with a vision to take the sound, stories, and soul of his roots to a global audience. Blending contemporary pop with the cultural textures of Kerala, his music brings together melody, modern production, and storytelling that feels rooted at home while reaching beyond borders. His breakout single “GTA Kaaran” crossed 850K+ streams on Spotify, introducing a sound that is distinctly Malayalam yet built for a wider stage. With “Thamburatti Penne,” Jay-D explores another side of that vision — a melodic, regal love song inspired by Kerala’s heritage and reimagined through a contemporary sound. Signed to Rysup Records, Jay-D is building toward one goal: taking Malayalam roots global, one record at a time.
