Junes is all about honesty, introspective and intimacy. With musical interests ranging from folk, indie and pop to electronic music and soulful R&B, the Zurich based artist tries to carefully gather all his favorite elements and inspirations into an own unique style. With huge inspiration taken from artists such as Bon Iver, James Blake, Ryan Beatty and Novo Amor, Junes aims to create an easy yet spellbinding listening experience somewhere within the genre of indie-pop. Centering a performance of voice and piano, Junes’ aesthetic pushes towards a raw and honest sound. Every element from gritty basses to aethereal string sounds striving to support the story the heartfelt songs have to convey. With the new EP “Of Love and Loss” he wants to take you by the hand and guide you through a story of new love found, savored, feared for and lost. Collaborating with producer Giuliano Sulzberger, he tried to get the most out of a minimalist production and strike big emotions with small yet concise sounds, letting each song speak for itself.
