William K.Z.

Psychedelic, prolific, and unpredictable—William K.Z. is a songwriter, collaborator, and live performer who thrives on chaos, creativity, and connection. His sound drifts between genres, blending cinematic synths, offbeat rhythms, and a touch of surreal humour to create music that feels alive in the moment. Over the past 15 years, William has become a quiet force in the UK’s underground scene, working with a wide range of artists including Bethlehem Casuals as well as collaborating with Bouffant Moose, Anna McLuckie, Sean Rogan, MYTBE, Seamus Og, hot springs. His performances are known for their improvisation and energy—no two shows are ever the same, and that’s exactly the point. He’s also the driving force behind Its Casual Presents, a DIY label and events platform that releases music, books gigs, and hosts theatre, poetry, and experimental nights—including the Keep It Casual Festival. It’s a hub for risk-takers, collaborators, and sonic explorers—a space where sound is never static. William’s upcoming album, The Last Flamingo in Space, captures that restless spirit—a cosmic reflection on creativity, extinction, and the beauty of staying in motion.
