Syte

sytE is an independent hip-hop artist from Riverside, Rhode Island, whose name stands for “Speak your truth every time.” His music lives where faith, doubt, temptation, and personal growth collide. Instead of cleaning up the story or rushing toward a resolution, he writes from inside the struggle; the moments when he knows God is present but can't feel Him, when old habits still have a grip, and when becoming who he is called to be feels like a fight. Rooted in Christianity but created for anyone wrestling with themselves, sytE uses honesty as the bridge. His music confronts the parts of life and faith people often hide: bitterness, self-sabotage, regret, spiritual exhaustion, and the slow work of getting back up. He is not interested in presenting himself as a finished product. He would rather tell the truth about the journey and give listeners somewhere to recognize their own. sytE is preparing to begin a new chapter with Dancing with Death, a larger story about spiritual warfare, destructive cycles, and the fight to keep moving toward the person God created him to be. Its opening release, “Dance with Death,” brings listeners into the struggle before offering them an easy resolution.
