Biography & Metadata

Vini is a music producer from Niterói - Rio de Janeiro - Brazil. He embarked on his musical journey with the band Açúcar Mascavo in 2017 as a drummer, which paved the way for him to engage in various other projects within Rio's independent scene. He has produced, recorded, and toured with artists such as Sávio, Drapula, Matheus Who, Cris, Mulheres que correm com os Loucos, Vitor Milagres, Rebeca, Klitoria, and Mototaxi. With all these projects, Vini has garnered thousands of plays on streaming platforms and spent countless hours on or beside stages. In 2024, he initiated his artist profile on Spotify to showcase his lo-fi music project and collaboration with composer Gabriel Fernandes, with whom he plans to release two tracks monthly throughout the year. Vini holds degrees in Cultural Production, Music Production, and is currently pursuing a postgraduate degree in Audiovisual Production and Marketing. He also works in the audiovisual field, specializing in location sound and post-production sound, which includes foley, sound design, dubbing, and mixing. He has participated in short films such as "Sábado Não É Dia de Ir Embora", "O Fundo dos Nossos Corações", "Jornadas de 14h", and "reCaptcha". For the future, he plans to produce new short films and music videos with his production company Fosfor Filmes.
