Soulomon B

Soulomon B, previously known under pseudonyms Getasew Tadesse and Hatori Himzo, is a lofi hip hop producer, composer, DJ, music journalist and promoter born in Belgrade, Yugoslavia (now Serbia). Besides music, Soulomon B is known for his excellent knowledge and interest in obscure music from around the world and music history in general. In his early youth he played drums in several local alternative bands, but his music taste and development took serious turn after discovering The Lounge Lizards which directed him toward jazz and afterward to African blues (specifically Ali Farka Touré). As he likes to point out, this event made him interested in "what else is out there in the world" and started to explore music scenes from around the globe. Another turn happened back in 2010 - the year he heard Cosmogramma by Flying Lotus and A Sufi And A Killer by The Gaslamp Killer and Gonjasufi.
