From Beaconsfield, Quebec, Brittany Kennell studied at Berklee College of Music in Boston before spending eight years in Nashville. She became the first Canadian on NBC’s The Voice, joining Team Blake Shelton and mentored by Miley Cyrus. In Nashville, Brittany wrote and shared the stage with artists including Maren Morris, Natalie Hemby, Hailey Whitters, Tenille Townes and Carly Pearce. She has been featured in Rolling Stone, CMT, SiriusXM, American Songwriter and ET Canada. A National Anthem singer for the Montreal Canadiens, Brittany has also performed at the F1 Grand Prix, Montreal Impact and Alouettes. Her modern country sound blends Kacey Musgraves, Miranda Lambert and Maren Morris with roots and rock influences from Bonnie Raitt and Sheryl Crow. Her debut album, I Ain’t A Saint, was named one of CBC Music’s 21 most anticipated and Top 15 albums of the year. She became the first Quebec female country artist to perform at the Grand Ole Opry. A SiriusXM Top of the Country semi-finalist, she has performed at Boots & Hearts, Lasso, Calgary Stampede and Ottawa Bluesfest. Her sophomore album, Pink Collar, has surpassed 1 million streams and led to major 2025 festival appearances, including Festival d’été de Québec, Fête du Lac des Nations and Festival Western de St-Tite. Now a first-time mom, Brittany is writing her next album and carving her own path in Americana.
