Astromax

Astromax is a beach rock band with Orlando US Reps Darren Soto (vocals / guitar) 🇵🇷 and Maxwell Frost (drums) 🇨🇺, as well as Darren Vierday (harmonica / backup vocals). The group originated from several live performances at political events and local festivals. Their influences include Bob Marley, Tom Petty and Jimmy Buffett. Their name is inspired by both Soto and Frost’s work in Congress on NASA and space exploration issues. The band just released their NEW single “Wishing On A Lucky Star”. Last of the “Sunburst Singles”, it’s a beach rock love song about new beginnings. Special thanks to our “Friends of Astromax” US Rep Morgan McGarvey (guitar), Diana Trujillo (guitar) and Nicholas Tardi (congos) for performing live with the band! They’ll start releasing singles from their new project Mango Bango this summer. All music produced by Darren Soto and Patrick Frost. ☀️ 🏝️ 🎸
