FRANZ

FRANZ is a producer and DJ crafting music that feels like a memory you can't quite place: soulful, jazz-touched, and slightly nostalgic, but unmistakably rooted in the present. The music is warm, human, but built for a dancefloor. Coming up in Miami during his college years put him in the middle of one of dance music’s most storied cities, but it took standing in a crowd at Ultra Music Festival in 2013 for the genre to fully click. What followed was a decade of obsessive listening - festivals, sub-genre deep dives, and nonstop learning - before he felt ready to put his own stamp on it. That patience shows in the music, and in early releases landing on labels like VIVa MUSiC and Humble House Records. Before dance, FRANZ established himself as a hip hop producer, placing records with G-Unit, Slip-N-Slide Records, and Rostrum Records. That foundation in composition and groove remains central to his sound today.
