TIDAL Spotlight Artist 2026, Kit Rice is a BRIT School alumnus, songwriter, producer, artist and classical violinist whose music blends soulful Drum & Bass, UK Garage, R&B and Pop with cinematic, emotionally driven songwriting. Known for genre-blending production, rich vocals and honest storytelling, his sound moves effortlessly between intimate moments and euphoric dancefloor records. His music has received support from BBC Introducing, BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 2, Kiss FM and Rinse FM, while releases have appeared on respected labels including Liquicity, Viper, Spearhead and Galacy. His anthem Rave That Never Ends reached No.1 on the iTunes and Apple Music Drum & Bass charts in multiple countries and charted in over 70 countries worldwide. Beyond his artist career, Kit hosts songwriting camps through KAR Records and collaborates across London, Berlin and New York, including Anti Social Camp. He also serves on The Ivors Academy Community Forum and Ethics Committee, championing songwriter development and collaboration. Following support from BBC Introducing and a global distribution partnership with LabelWorx, Kit is preparing to release his debut Drum & Bass album, Deep Waters, a deeply personal body of work exploring love, identity and resilience through lush liquid production and cinematic songwriting.
