Los Hermanos Alacranes

Richmond VA's Los Hermanos Alacranes / The Scorpion Brothers return with their sophomore release, Twilight Songs, in the fall of 2026. Founded in 2023 by drummer Berto Lytle and singer/songwriter Paulo Franco, the band's first album, Uno, was released by Shockoe Records in 2024. The band enjoys a great deal of local support, regularly headlining local festivals and events, including slots at the Richmond Folk Festival and Richmond Forum in 2024. The band was named Best Rock Band by local critics in 2024 and won another 'best of' award from the Richmond International Film Festival (RIFF) in 2025. In 2026, the band recorded Twilight Songs with grammy winning producer Steve Berlin of Los Lobos. The band can be seen throughout central Virginia, and will join Los Lobos for shows in Kansas City in late 2026. The band's music blends traditional Colombia cumbia beats with American rock and roll. Cinematic in style, the band celebrates love and all that comes with it.
